Can Safari always open automatically from TikTok or Instagram?
Automatic opening depends on the app, operating system and device. When it is blocked, OpenOut shows a copy-link option and manual instructions for continuing in the visitor's browser.
How does OpenOut get around TikTok's restrictions?
It detects the in-app browser, tries platform-supported breakout methods where available, and surfaces a clear copy-link flow so visitors can paste your URL into Safari or Chrome.
Any difference between Android and iPhone?
Yes. Android is more permissive — intent URLs and Chrome custom-tab hand-off often work. iOS is stricter, so the guided fallback matters more.
What does the copy-link fallback actually do?
It copies a secure continuation link and shows how to paste it into the visitor's browser. That link takes them to your page or chosen destination. If clipboard access is blocked, the URL remains available to select and copy manually.
